I just got a book on date personal date selection from Joye Yap and he recommends using Microsoft outlook to access the Chinese calendar. I am on a Mac and they don't have this program for mac yet. Does anyone know of a bilingual Chinese/English Chinese calendar on the web. I tried googling Chinese calendar, but it comes up with all Chinese characters and I don't understand anything.

HI Lauren, take a look at this, not sure it will satisfy your need. http://www.dragon-gate.com/astrology-and-fengshui-online-almanac/index.aspAlternatively, u can get JY 10 thousand year calender, Or make your own for each year. Once you know the Stem, it repeats every 10 days. For the branch, it repeats every 12 days. For the 12 officers, it also repeat every 12 days, but it is more tricky as there will be a change during the jie qi transistion.

Gemini,
The dragon gate calendar is excellent. It is even more then I expected. Do you use it yourself to plan events?

Gemini,
I just realize that dragon gate calendar only gives you forecast for 3 days, yesterday, today and tomorrow. I just want to know the element on each day, I guess that would be the heavenly stem and the earthy brunch that way I can use the Joye Yaps date selection book.

Yap, that's why I created my own table for each month using excel spreadsheet. Since you know today Stem and Branch, the stem repeats every 10 days and the branch every 12 days. I can't recall any site that give few months. Sorry.

Gemini,
I am trying to do what you suggested, I am using JY personal date selection book for reference. What happens when it is a new month?
It sais in the book on the establish day the day earthy brunch is the same as the months earthy brunch. It work for me for the Rooster month, but it does not for the Dog month, the establish day is still Rooster. I think I may be doing it wrong. I am flowing the HS the EB and the day officers in sequence, I should be doing it differently, but I am not sure how.
What do you have for October 8, 9 & 10?

Hi LaurenXX, think it is my mistake for not clear. The stem and branch will flow continuously in regardless of month transistion. However, the 12 officer will change with the start of each month. I assume you know that the start of each month is not the 1st day based on Western calender.
After determine the start of each month, I key in the 12 officers and from there do another copied and paste to fill up the remaining days for that month.
Oct 8 is Bing Xu, Establish Oct 9 is Ding Hai, Remove Oct 10 is Wu Zi, Full
This sequence continues to 6th Nov and another month starts.
Nov 7 is Bing Chen, Initialize Nov 8 is Ding Si, Destruct

Hi, Dec 7 Bing Xu, Open Jan 5 Yi Mao, Full Feb 4 Yi You, Danger Mar 5 Geng Xu, Success Apr 5, Ji Chou, Receive May 5, Yi Mao, Open Jun 6, Ding Hai, Initialize Jul 7, Wu Wu, Close Aug 8, Geng Yin, Destruct Sep 8, Xin You, Establish Oct 8, Xin Mao, Initialize Nov 7, Xin You, Open Dec 7, Xin Mao, Balance
The transition date for each month is nearly +/- 1 day of above, if you not sure or to be safe, best is not use the days around that period.

Gemini, a quick question, I am trying to do my calendar for December now and the transition is Dec 7 Bing Xu, Open
Could you give me the information for a few days before that, like Dec 4, 5 & 6. For Dec 7 i am getting Bing Xu, but not "open", i m trying to figure out if I made a mistake or the days don't follow an sequential order at the end of the month
