Here is my layout: (bottom is N and balcony faces S, SE is top left of layout)

I'm a little confused as to how to treat the balcony.  Is the balcony part of the house and considered part of the fame sector?  Does that mean I'm missing the wealth sector?

Or is the balcony not included and the bedroom is a projection of the marriage sector?

If the wealth sector is missing, how serious is it?  Serious enough to move to a new place or can I fix it with a cure such as a faceted crystal or something else?  I had a feng shui consultant come in look at my place.  He never mentioned anything about it though, but he did advise me to put a piggy bank in that SE (top left of layout) corner.

I'm new to feng shui and still learning.  Any insight is greatly appreciated.  Along with any other tips or cures for my layout.

Thank you

Here's the layout with what I've done as instructed by a feng shui consultant.

Red - Piggy banks (The one in the breakfast area also has a picture of water hanging on the wall)
Green - Plants
Yellow - Wind chime
Blue - Safe
Purple - Empty vase and picture of romantic painting

Hi FSF,

There's strictly no such classification as Wealth Sector in classical Chinese Feng Shui text.  There's lot of modern day commercialized sites trying to impress average people knowing that wealth usually resonates with each one's heart.

Even if there is, each method's calculation of the vibrant star (usually marketed by modern day practitioners as wealth star) will differ from method to method.

Lastly, your balcony is missing little bit but it is not considered a missing corner.

1) I agree that the whole layout is miss a corner. This is based on a theory that there can be missing edges of a layout but not excess, when taking whole layout as a rectangle/square. This just means that the house is missing a certain qi. However, I am not saying if that is a good or bad thing, until we can confirm which qi is missing.

2) I agree with Ken that there is no specific wealth sector or corner, so no need to worry if that qi is missing. cos it doesnt exist.

3) I highly disagree on using wind chimes for FengShui purpose. As the effect of the wind chime (sound created) would affect the inhabitants of the household. I would like to refer to historical evidence for the presence of wind chime in ancient China. As far as i understand, chimes were used as instrument only.

Wind chime is supposely very vibrant and can be used to generate good wealth luck if used properly. That 's what I heard...

Hi 藤锺 and Ken,

Why is there no wealth sector? Saw it in  many books saying so eh? Huh?

It looks very much like LT technique of fengshui. It is not wrong with putting gadgets but it looks like a bit too exaggerate. Anything he/she said about relocating bed/door/furnitures?

Anyway keep us updated for the result you will get later. Wink

Hi 藤锺,

Glad to see you around.  Out of curiosity, which are the Chinese Metaphysics tools you practising and using?

Hi Willy and Ken,

I learned 飞星, wont want to name which one, cos i believe each is an upgrade of another. Learnt abit about 紫微 and got ideas how to fuse 飞星 and 紫微 for a remedy alternative. But quite sometime since i last used 紫微, so very rusty.

My all-time favourite is 八字. However, not much luck in learning it. Got good recommendation on the reading material?
