My grandfather just passed away

I just lost my grandpa  . I really don't know how to deal with this yet. I should have gone home last month. The family reunion is really the last chance to see him... I feared this day the most

About 2 hours ago, he had a heart attack. My mum said we already lost him at home before arriving at the hospital....

20 November 1930 - August 14 or 13 here. I just can't picture my life without him.

Grandma still didn't sleep at this time, just talked to her. There were not signs at all. It was very sad to see grandpa go like this. He ate normal yesterday evening, didn't know he's going to leave this world. I was looking forward to travel with him... Only with the sudden fever and cold, he was taken away after seeing everyone, and I didn't know the reunion was the last opportunity to see him... I hope I can reach home by the 16th.

Hi leecarrot it really hard to accept this truth in life. So long as we are alife we just have to make the best of out time. Be strong ya. Your Grandma need you now. And life have to go on.

Thank you, remoteviewer. I'm very disappointed at myself. I finished everything but my thesis, very close to completion and my grandfather didn't live to see that. He will also never see me finding a dream job and building a family. He called me last week, and told me to finish as soon as possible. I didn't know it would be the last time I heard his voice since I last saw him two years ago.

It is strange how things happened so fast. I hope he didn't feel any pain when he passed away. Earlier today, I told the teddy bear (the one in the profile pic) that when I go home, I will tell grandpa that this bear is already 20 years old. He gave me this bear, and is always very keen of this teddy. Even though when my grandma didn't want me to bring it to Canada, he is the one who allowed it to keep me a company for the last 8 years.

I booked a 1 way air ticket for tomorrow 9 pm. I will stay in Jakarta for quite a bit for my grandmother. Hope they can find the same one for my aunt so we can leave together. I hope to work from home, and email my advisor to keep him updated for the next 2 months...

My condolences.  Hope you and family members can stay strong and ride this through together.

Strangely, it seems that the casualty rate is always higher during the Chinese 7th month.  This is the 3rd case I heard and we are only into the first few days of the 7th month.  I always advise people that if they have ailing relatives to catch up, do it before 7th month.

Thanks very much for the support. It has been more than 24 hours since I left and in transit at this moment, but I will try to be strong when I get to see my family in a few hours.

Sad to hear the lost of william's uncle too.. After Ken explained, I now understand better the danger of the chinese 7th month, and will keep in mind that. Some said that death symbolizes a new beginning. It's actually a normal daily occurrence in the world that I really have to get used to ....

I hope those who recently passing away are in a better place now. Wish we could find out if they had been reborn.
