Hi pentan
You can't read chinese 扁鼻? I should use the word 'flat nose' - is it clearer to you?

Shorter nose (扁鼻)
lcly, you can say that I tends to read English characters better. So how flat is flat enough for a maid. Any pics to see to compare? Blacks tend to have very flat nose. Whites tends to have higher nose bridge.

Hi pentan
If you look from the side angle, the nose is in line with the cheek. If higher nose bridge, if you see from side angle, it is protruding longer than the cheek.

Whites tends to have higher nose bridge. This is the one main problem I have with Mian Xiang. I mean, I'm wholly fasinated with the subject and agree for the most part but I do detect cultural bias. This means I believe Mian Xing was created on the basis of mostly oriental asian faces. For instance, if a strong protruding jaw indicates a man of good leadership, most dutch people or native red skin indians would have this genetically compared to the chinese.

Hi Pentan,
Laughter lines are suitable but beware the broken laughter lines.
Moles are more likely not good but still need to consider where it is.
Famous men like Gordon Ramsay and Fabio Capello have many lines on their face. Just by looking at these two men I would say they have pain lines on their face from too many bitter feelings and anger. They say that tortured soldiers or people who have gone through a lot of stress or difficult times develop something like pain lines. Does this have any relation to what you are referring to?

Squarish hairline denotes a more opinionated person, as compared to one with a round hairline. Thin lips also have been known to be apt at telling lies?

Dear`Master Ken,
I have been thinking about this subject. During an interview all employers want the best talent and what would you say if an employee is given the chance to prove or improve ( unless he / she has some very outstanding negative facial feature). I am thinking that the person may need a job badly.
Thank you,
Pearl

Hi Pearl,
I would give an employee the chance to improve, provided his face tells me he has the attitude and mindset to improve.
Many employers focused too much on the hard skills an employee has, without realizing the soft skills are harder to overcome.
Hard skills like technical ability can be attained with time spent to read up and practice but the soft skills are mostly innate and comes from one's characteristics which is most hard to change. That is why I say not everyone who claims he want to improve or change can do so.
