Hello all,

I'd like to keep my car a safe place to be and I want to promote calmness, clarity, and wellness. I have heard that I should keep a bottle of water in my car. Are there any other things I can do to promote those things I listed? The colour of my car is blue and I try to keep it clean (both inside and outside) as much as possible.

Thanks!

Hi Hackuuna,

Feng Shui was never practised in a car.  However, if you want to improve your luck during driving, some folks believe that placing some good luck charm in the car will help.  One of the easiest and scientific method to improve your luck with car is probably to buy a light coloured ones.  Scientifically and statistically, light colour cars have lower chance of getting into accident.

Thanks for your response Ken! I do not know a lot about the history of Feng Shui. I am curious, was it ever practiced in naval ships? For example, were there any concepts used in ancient naval travels that could be applied to modern cars, planes, naval ships, and space ships?

Hi Hackuuna Matata,

Cars and ships cannot be "feng shuied" because they do not have a fixed facing direction; they are constantly moving and changing direction.

On the other hand, what is your car number plate (registration number)? These has a significant on the driver.

Thanks for your response quahbkc. After doing some more reading I realize how ignorant my original (and subsequent) question was on this topic. My license plate will be changing since I have ordered a custom plate for myself and the one I will have once it arrives is "Hackuuna" Cheesy Currently the number is a random plate given to me which is "BFFH 047".

Hi Quah, i would like to know, how do you decide which number is good for someone? Is it similar to Western or the Indian numerology?
Do you add up all the numbers and the alphabets?

It is not about being "good for someone"; it merely shows the characteristics of the driver based on Chinese Metaphysics. It's about the significance of the numbers.

I once heard from someone who learned thai astrology that adding all the numbers of your birthday to a single digit. Those with 1,2, or 3 then 1, 2 and 3 will be their lucky no. Those with 4, 5, or 6 then 4, 5 and 6 will be their lucky no. The same thing for 7, 8 and 9. How true? I also don't know!

How do we examine these numbers then? Is it purely about numbers or are letters included as well. If so maybe we can convert the letters to their binary equivalent  Grin

That's the first time i've heard of it. Not sure how that works. Cos numbers are supposed to work together to balance the individual's energy. I believe that if in a day, you encounter a certain number more than twice or three times, it means that the universe is trying to tell you something.
For example, if it's number 3, then you are expected to be more expressive. 4, to be more discipline.

Without bias, I will always see it with neutral mindset. You can apply these kind of car/ships feng shui if it has any effect to you. Personally without offending, I will rather cure the problem with my yang house and the yin house feng shui.
